High five man! Glad it's still serving you well!@ton your former jacket says hi!
Happy you found another one, it’s really a GREAT jacket!
Best!
You bet! It's a keeper!
Don't worry, I already have the lambskin version. I believe they only made one! You're safe.
8.38 lbs Vanson model e arrived, I like the fit, leather is softer and thinner than rock and roll, the main problem is there are many abrasions on the jacket, many stitche holes as well, cigarette pocket can't snap in, I talked to Vanson and asking some compensation at least, not sure should I keep it or return it
It's a genuine shame they can't source hides like this anymore...That does look a bit... Amateur hour. Some of that stitching is downright sloppy.
Damn, the leather sure had changed.
I'd almost think, given the recent comp weight, that going with z150 would be better. It seem far more consistent and natural. I think if I were to do another E it would be that or octagon. It's a shame their flagship leather isn't pulling its weight, so to speak.
It's also nice one he epaulettes lay flat. My new E had them standing straight up when brand new. This was a size 42" and too small.I like the leather on my model e, it's more waxy and shiny, I have confident it will aged like the one Guppy got from eBay.
John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style.
It was around 23" actually but small in the shoulders and too short. All my other E's were 44" or 46" and around 23.5"-24.5" respectively. The lambskin is dead on 24" and is a 44".
