Thanks Bowen, the embroidered liner is what sold me. The sweat also looks older, but I am not real familiar Dobbs dating. I will post to appropriate threads to see if I anyone can tell me.

Thank you Jack. It has a very nice hand, as soon as I touched it, I knew it was nice. It appears to never have been worn. I was told ,that it came from a shop in Pueblo Colorado that closed 15 years ago.

Stetson ******* as it arrived today. Royal grade. Light gray with a 7/8" ribbon, sort of Acqua blue. Keyhole tag with plastic crown protector. 2-1/4" x 5-1/2" open crown. Very soft & seems to want a center crease without using steam.
