Finished my paper late last night, now for a trip up to campus in Portland (OR).
Today, we will continue the European Tour of hat by staying in England. Stockport, England to be exact. A Battersby Homburg from the late 40s to early 50s. Black, super soft felt for a "hommie".

Thanks Michael! It came to me open crown and it's stiff enough that I can't easily show a fedora crease for you ... sorry. I can't remember if I tried that at first and saved any photos (they would be on my dead laptop).

Another early soft hat from the century club - with a Stetson mark that I have not seen on another survivor from the era. The early silver foil store imprint is very nice on this hat - I've found it flaked off in other old hats.

Mullen & Bluett in 1911, the era when this hat was sold.
