Thanks !!!Steve, another stunning example. I need you to come visit me, and when you do, we will go play the lottery. You find some amazing hats.
LSS, looks great, and awesome color
Chamuco, perfect!
Thanks a lot, it's just a matter of placing it on your head and easy goes !!You wear this hat well. I'm not much of a cowboy hat fan, but its hats like these that make me wish I could pull them off. Nice find.
I like that one, a lot, maybe hat that will ask a little bit more to get used to...I![]()

How cool.New to me Resistol Stagecoach ...Turkey Creek in Cordova.
John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. That front badge probably wouldn't have passed muster back in the day, but it's perfect for that hat now. Great find!Another Slouch, this one with the right badges and Pug for the Australian Army late 40's early. Front badge developing a nice patina...
BeautySo I made a hat for Jarrod Dickenson, this is a rabbit Fur Felt in Alabaster which was blocked on a 6 inch open crown block with a 3 inch brim. I used a 15mm cotton and rayon ribbon from the 1930's which just stood out on this hat. dropped it off last night at one of his gigs and lets just say he is a very happy Texan.

I think I read somewhere on the FL that the word order changed about the same time as the change from stars to maple leaf on the logo. So about 1950Simply wonderful Ant! It is interesting with the order of the words, Royal Stetson Deluxe vs. Stetson Royal Deluxe. I'll have to look at my late 50s, but I think Stetson is not the middle word. Cool...
both of my Flagships are 40s era hats and the word order is different on eachI think I read somewhere on the FL that the word order changed about the same time as the change from stars to maple leaf on the logo. So about 1950
+1 Stetson mysteries, there are many...both of my Flagships are 40s era hats and the word order is different on each
I have never considered one of these until seeing this beauty. Those badges are really super, did they wear one on both the front and side? Cool beans Rodolfo.Another Slouch, this one with the right badges and Pug for the Australian Army late 40's early.
Front badge developing a nice patina...

Yes Mike. The RAAF one is real nice, has a blue fold on the Pug, the RAAF badge on the front and the Australian Army on the side. I have one from Korea.I have never considered one of these until seeing this beauty. Those badges are really super, did they wear one on both the front and side? Cool beans Rodolfo.
Ja ja ja It does help !!!It must take a long arm to get all that hat in the picture. Looks great.
Thanks a lot !!! I didn't want to over clean it and get the patina out of it, some how those badges seem to age gracefully...That front badge probably wouldn't have passed muster back in the day, but it's perfect for that hat now. Great find!
Got this sweet blue hat today . I'm guessing 40s on the era if any experts know feel free to correct that.
