Great looking lids everyone. I'm wearing one of my conversions this nice Saturday afternoon. Resistol Stagecoach in Silverbelly with a thin ribbon. One of two that I call Tallboys because of the tall crowns.

The straight sides of that crown really make a statement. I love your conversions. Nice ribbon work also.

Yup. Kind of a chimney of sorts. The cooler breeze comes in under the brim and the warmer air vents out through the top.

Last evening I went out to listen to some jazz in a Cordova linen cap.

This morning I was wearing my new Cavanuagh. Light colored felt is just so soft to the touch.

The Cavanaugh edge. Found on vintage hats only!

The vintage Cavanaugh blocking and brim proportions are definately distinctive.

Unfortunately the wind by the lake made me fear the hat will blow into the water and I switched to a Monsavais Cap.
