That's a real looker, Anthony! Love the "unlined, but plastic covered" liner tip. Great looking felt and ribbon treatment, too. Unusual how they put the color on the sweatband. Does the 2 3/8 refer to the brim width?

I actually have no idea what that means ... was hoping someone here would know ... something about felt weight ?
no idea ... the brim is much wider than 2 3/8

Great hat. A two ounce felt (as it was called in the trade) was offered by all companies at that time, each differentiated by their marketing name and advertising schtick. Featherweights, fiumes, Air-Lites, zephyrs, hankachifs...would be a nice subject for the comparison thread.
