From what I understand, Tilden hats are made for Henry the Hatter in Detroit. I have 2 of them, I think probably from the 40s or 50s. Tilden still makes hats for them, but they are all very modern looking with tapered crowns and stingy brims. I will post a couple of pics of this Tilden I'm wearing today.

I know I said I'd be back to fedoras today, but then the weather decided to get cold again so I had to put this big furry animal on my head.

Tomorrow they promise warmer weather, so I'll be back to normal then.

All hail the big furry animal. Once it's turned into felt you can barely tell a beaver from a rabbit. But it shines in many hues in it's natural state. Ha ha.
