How many cats do you have??? I suppose I'm quite the sucessful cat rancher. I think I'm up to about 14 here on the place! Most all have names too!

Between the elements, coyotes, and such the status kinda remains quo on that number. Lost two of my favs in the tornado we had end of April. RIP, Little Imp and Bright Eyes.

Oh we'll never seems to be a shortage! No rodent issues here either!!!

Sorry to hear about the loss of your favorite cats. That's no fun.

We have just the one, and let me tell you, he's plenty! But, as you stated, we have no insect or rodent problems on the property.

I got up to refresh my beer, and this clown decides to come out of nowhere and steal my seat. Little booger (that's not what I called him, but let's just go with that).

So, I didn't win. Darn good thing he's cute. Try to move him, he plays dead. He a cat for Gods sake. I know he's not asleep. If you have ever tried to move a sleeping cat, you know they wake before you can touch 'em. He just acts like a dead weight. Like I said.....booger.

Here is one of my dogs. His name is Viggo and soon to be 11 years old. He is a Finnish Spitz and he is quite a large one compared to most Finnish Spitzes.

My beautiful Marlene slipped away from us just four months ago this week. She died at home, peacefully in my arms, just a week shy of her eighth birthday. Sadly she was born with abnormally small kidneys for a cat, and this seems to have been causative in her developing renal failure unusually young. We had eight wonderful months after her diagnosis before the end. I'dd go through it all over again for just one more.

She is survived by her litter sister Greta, who is a constnt joy, when she's not being an ***. And even then...

Hopefully before much longer we'll have another little friend or two for Greta, though her sister will never be forgotten or replaced.
