Very nice hat! Wish I had one of that quality. And most stockyards still have a good steakhouse around with plenty of history! When I go to a real steakhouse & not a chain restaurant I always order a bowl of their chili as an appetizer because it's usually made from their steak trimmings & not ground beef. Good stuff!

I opened the box of the melusine felt hats...maybe too late
Flechet Century in melusine felt

Medium brown with ribbon matched.
Difficult to render the exact color "invaded" by other shades

This is the best, with the below, picture for color quality
Very soft felt with an extreme pliability

It was made in France during the late 50 early 60 and was in the high end section of Chapeaux Flechet

Thanks for all of the kind words for my friend, Will. Saw him last evening and it turns out that I arrived on the first day that he has been able to speak in a month and a half. They are working to ween him off the ventilator. And I helped him set off some alarms on the monitoring equipment with his laughter. It is good to see.

Today, the only hat I brought out here, the ASCO derby with the front range of the Rockies making a cameo. Plus, a special "post" for Charlie.
