Thanks for all of the kind words about the homburg this morning.

I had to run home at lunch and just for the heck of it, I grabbed my old Knox Foxhound for a more casual afternoon.

This hat is my first vintage. I stumbled upon it in the mid '90s in a Salvation Army store in Clifton Forge, Virginia, a little town in the Allegheny mountains where my folks lived when I was in college.

This hat has had a lot of head time and I have a soft spot in my heart for it. Don't wear it too much anymore.

Collage, I would believe. A montage would be, like, a picture in picture? And I think triptychs need to be foldable?

Somebody you all know has a monumental birthday in a few days time. Her name is Tina, and she makes a brilliant shirt. She looks good in any sort of hat, but her preference is for the vintage look.

The photo is deliberately in black & white to reflect the era that she is so effectively dressed in. It's also a good reason to show you how I see her. For me she is forever the lady I have loved since first meeting her. I'm too much a gentleman to give away her years, but we have been married for 48 years, you work it out. Here's that lady that I met back then.
