Mixed Connective Tissue Disease (MCTD), an unusually virulent, incurable autoimmune disease has essentially blinded me in one eye. I have at sale two Zeiss 8x30 B/GA IF binoculars NEW-IN-BOX.
This is the binocular developed by Zeiss in 1964 for the Bundeswehr. Its commercial version, I believe, remains in production, having been qualitatively upgraded throughout production.
This binocular is probably Zeiss' most egregiously overdesigned ever. The binoculars at sale here are that binocular in its advanced configuration.
Zeiss no longer offers umbral (snow/sea glare filters) lenses and F2 reticles. And few of these binoculars other than Bundeswehr issue were equipped as are these binoculars - ever.
The price for either binocular is $1610.00. Shipping and insurance in CONUS is free. Buyers elsewhere will pay only actual shipping and insurance costs.
If outright purchase is too severe for your budget, I will consider a three-calendar-month layaway.
I am shopping for a Shiloh Sharps 1863 percussion cap lock rifle. If you have one, perhaps we should chat.
I have no digital camera. "Photographs" are scans via my flatbed scanner. Any particulate spatters are artifacts on the scanner's glass. Not shown are rain guards and container for umbral lenses.
