Your Vintage Concept Suggestions for Las Vegas

One thing that I have always thought would be a really cool concept would be a vintage theme Hotel Casino in Las Vegas. It might be a hard pitch but Las Vegas has done a number of themed Casinos and they would have the money to put together a fabulous attraction.

Unfortunately the interest in vintage and any type of nostalgia is limited for the most part. However there are some bright points such as the show "The Rat Pack is Back" which has had a long run moving to a number of places. I have seen it and it is quite a good return to the late 50's early 60's feel to it when I saw it some years ago.

I do fear that the first thing that the LV gang would jump at would be the Prohibition / Gangster / Speakeasy theme which is a hackneyed expression of vintage almost always poorly done.

I thought that a 1930's Hollywood expression would be classic.

Or perhaps a Casino Hotel that had a theme of a series of WWII US bases could be a cool concept. Different areas recreating themes like:
US Navy in the Pacific tropical theme, (think "South Pacific")
Army in N. Africa Morrocco type area.
and an Army Air Corp base in England area.
Swing dance & music abounds and the staff is wearing mostly uniforms echoing the period? (Sort of a Vegas version of "The Philadelphia Experiment" where you time travel back to WWII but in the rear with the gear...)

What type of vintage theme would you like to see in Vegas?
