WWll BRITISH BELT? Info appreciated...

Thrifted this today. Seems to be WWll British. The buckle at least - the leather may well be a replacement. Looks too fresh and seems a bit narrow for the fittings. Is it a rare and valuable treasure? Is it just a common buckle missing its original leather accompaniment? Any info on this from those of you with knowledge in this area is appreciated.

The buckle is the universal pattern lockets worn with the slade wallis belt; whilst there were some brown belts in the early 20th century, I do think this is a replacement belt - the rivets don't look correct and it doesn't have the fittings at the rear (brown Slade wallis was pretty much only worn as a "combat" set. White was worn for walking out). The rivetting looks incorrect too.

The locket is nice, mind, and go for a bit by themselves.
