In my quest late at night, to purchase a WWII nurses cape, I bid on one, that I thought was another (with red lining) and now own the one with gold wool lining.
It's beautiful and just what I wanted, except for the lining, because I don't know if the nurses ever had a gold liner...
Does anyone have any idea what the gold lining means in a nurses cape?
I really did not want to use it incorrectly.
