WWII AAF seat pack parachute - Vintage Parachutes reproduction

I have a WWII AAF seat pack parachute system for sale. It is a reproduction made by Bob at Vintage Parachutes from mostly original WWII parts. This is the AAF style seat pack system (I can't remember the designation, AN-65something.) Awesome khaki colors, nice bright white webbing. Looks good and ideal for an AAF or WASP display. It is in excellent condition with no visible damage. Note: As far as I know, the seat pack is stuffed with something other than a real chute, but frankly I'm not certain what, as I have never opened it up to look. There may be real WWII silk in there (I know Bob will do this for an extra charge, but I bought the chute 2nd hand), but I really don't know and frankly I'm too scared to try to open it up to look.

This system retails for $650+ plus shipping, plus a 6-8 week lead time. I am asking $500 or best offer. Can ship UPS with tracking, or with prepayment I can deliver to either the Fort Worth (Texas) Militaria show on Sept 18, the Fort Worth Hangar Dance on Oct 2, or the CAF Airsho in Midland, Texas, in October. Will accept USPS money orders, cash (only if delivering in person), or Western Union/Moneygram. No paypal.
