WW2 US Army EM Shirt -Khakis question

Obviously looking for an answer in relation to an enlisted mans khakis shirt, aka suntans or summer weight. I have looked at several sites listed here & elsewhere on WW II uniforms, but my old eyes cant quite tell one thing... did the shirt have epaulets? Sometimes I think they do, but other times its a bit hard to tell. And of course no of the sellers indicate one way or another if they are.
I had seen some stuff that was out of a FM or something, think it was on some reenacting units site but damn if I can find it again.

So, did they have epaulets or not? thanks

I think the shirts for the enlisted scum didn't have epaulets, but they were known to have worn officer khaki shirts, tho.

I've been looking at the major reenactor sites & it seems to be split that some of them have epaulets, or don't. I do like the pinks & greens that the officers wore, but at heart I am enlisted scum, albeit right now very out of shape enlisted scum. But that's okay, I'm well past the age that the military probably would've accepted back then anyways. LOL

Epaulets were authorized for officers only during WW2. New 2nd Lts were often referred to as "shave tails" since they were said to cut material off the bottom rear of their enlisted shirt to form epaulets for the shoulders.
