Wrinkle removal?

Noticed there are a number of non-leather jackets (flight satin) that are sporting numerous wrinkles. Is there an easy and safe way to get these wrinkles out? Perhaps these are caused by packaging and transportation. Will they "fall out" after being left on a clothes hanger?

The gentlest way is to put the jacket on a good hanger and hang it in a warm humid place - for example when I was in a hurry on work mornings, before I retired, I've hung wrinked shirts on the outside of our walk in shower cubicle away from the spray and avoided having to iron them.

^This or I have used a garment steamer on a couple Alpha MA-1's that were deadstock and creased from years of being in their bag. Just make sure not to linger on one spot too long. Neither of the ones I did showed any ill effects even from some fairly vigorous steaming though.

Thanks for the tip! I have two jackets that will arrive soon, an MA-1 and a B-15. Might have to do some steamin'.

When I saw the title of this thread, I just knew that I had to share this anecdote. Whitman Laboratories Ltd were a former contract of mine, I distributed their goods throughout the UK and parts of Western Europe. Whitman are better known as: Estee Lauder and Clinique perfumes.
On one occasion, following a meeting at their Petersfield premises, I was invited to purchase whatever I wanted from their staff shop @ 50% off. Fellas, you might need to ask your lady how indulgent this is. There was a product, for removing wrinkles, called: Night Repair. It costs an absolute fortune. "What's that all about?" I enquired of the sales assistant. She explained that it was an elixir that repaired wrinkles whilst sleeping.
"Really?" I replied, perhaps a tad scornfully, "you might let me have a bucketful." (note, I didn't say for my wife, even if my inflection insinuated such.) The staff shop has CCTV and sound recorded the whole time. A copy disc of that conversation somehow reached my wife. I am still trying to live it down.
