World War II non-USAAF A-2 jackets

I found these photos on a Civil Air Patrol history page (https://www.facebook.com/groups/CAPHistory/).

The photos were taken in 1941 and early 1942 for a Life Magazine article about the Georgia State Defense Corps (state guard) – Coastal Air Patrol unit. The Coastal Air Patrol was later merged with the newly formed Civil Air Patrol. Some great A-2 jackets and another civilian jacket.

most pilots kept their collars unsnapped to judge by these photos and others of A2 jackets
