Wore my Bootlegger for the First time this season

Well today it was cold enough to wear some horsehide! Made it about half way on about a 300 mile ride! Not too bad for Tennessee. I was stretching it a bit but my wife got a few shots as I got ready to leave ....maybe it will get cold a little sooner....I am probably dreaming.

Anybody else get there jackets on today????

I just love mine. That and the Vanson Enfield are probably my favorite jackets.
I'm heading out in about a week and a half for a 350 mile ride. I will take some leather for sure.

Just discovered that Photobucket doesn't transfer edits to photos. I spent some time lightening, contrast and cropping on their site but it seems to only transfer the original. Oh well next time I will bring out the good camera rather than the phone.

I really like this jacket it's vintage horse so it isn't too stiff while riding + I plan on using it this winter for work too!

It is getting cool enough here in my part of Oregon. I did about 150 miles Saturday in my Vanson Comet. Looking forward to a nice autumn for more riding.
