I am getting a custom sportster from US AUTHENTIC in vintage horsehide + few customizations. Shaul offered in stock options of rayon/quilted polyester lining or any other kind if I provide him with the fabric.

I live in California and want a lining just for looks and style. I like the tartan/plaid style but having a hard time finding seller in US. I saw few recommendations from UK. I am ok with lightweight wool too.

Do you guys have any links for US sellers?

Found this
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Tartan-pla...rstClass!94087!US!-1:rk:3:pf:1&frcectupt=true

but not sure if it can be used for jackets.

Can share the pics of sportster if anyone interested. Shaul also offered to make a jacket in horween if I provide him with the leather, but I liked his swatches so going with it.

Would appreciate the help.

Thanks.

Jay,
I think that the fabric that you highlighted on eBay is probably too light for a good durable lining, also not sure if I would want a cotton poly blend myself
Here are a couple links to fabric stores here in the states that I got from John Chapman of Good Wear Leather:

I ended up selecting a Harris Tweed lining for my jacket and John ordered that from Scotland:

https://www.harristweedshop.com/tweed-harris-plain.html

The lining I selected was a rather heavy tweed, but I think they have lighter options there as well.
Hope you find something you like at one of those spots. It sounds like you’re working on a pretty cool jacket, please keep us posted

Several years ago, I sent in my alpaca-lined Aero Long Half Belt to Shaul to have him reline it in some wool herringbone material I bought off ebay. Don't recall the seller; i just searched for wool material. He did a great job. You even be able to find some appropriate lining material at Joanne's Fabric (or someplace similar).

Pendleton wool has a great reputation. Not suggesting this is what you are looking for, but gives an idea of cost.
