to water ratio?
I have hair that just won't hold the curl I put into it lately and was wondering if I should up my setting lotion to water ratio.
Right now, it's lotta body 1/3 and water 2/3
I do either a wet set and sleep in it over night, or a wet set under the dryer for an hour.

Thanks :)

I use Lottabody straight from the bottle on my baby fine hair. I apply three or four small dollops to pretty wet hair, concentrating on the ends and bang area. Then comb though and set. I went with the method that causes the least fuss and since it works I don't mess with it.

I found that skipping the conditioner helped my sets. Unfortunately, my hair is naturally curly, and I need conditioner to keep the frizz down.

I usually only use water, but once in a while I steal my mother's Define volume mousse. If I don't overdo it to the point of things getting crunchy the curl stays all day. Everything does however go straight the moment I touch it with a brush, and the increased ringlet forming does make it tempting to give it a second brush through later in the day.

I should probably get myself a bottle of Lottabody. And one of those pin curl tool things.
