Add to that swearing, cigars, rum, whiskey, strong beer, and swearing at all those other things, and we're getting close to a list of my main vices.

Atticus, perhaps you're being a little cheeky and I'm missing it. But tongue-in-cheek is the way I started this thread (with a photo of a large vise) and I think the majority of the posts defining bad conduct here are indeed, tongue-in-cheek. No need to keep your mouth shut. Go ahead and fire away!Atticus Finch said:Well...I was going to chime in and confess to some of my vices, but after seeing what is considered here to meet the definition (shoes, magazines, coffee, jazz), I've decided it would be best to just keep my mouth shut. Dang, y'all got a low bar when it comes to defining bad conduct!

Well, having an uncontrollable urge is one thing, but actually doing it is another. Since I haven't heard a news report of anyone getting hurt (or worse ) diving into a vat of wet Mercury dimes (and you know that would be the outcome), I'm certain you haven't attempted it yet. So I would say that no, it's not a vice. But before it becomes one, seek help. lolluvthatlulu said:Does having the uncontrollable urge to dive naked from atop a building into a vat filled with wet Mercury dimes count as a "vice"?
