I know members here have decried the state of the US hat industry and its decline in the post-war period, compared to some European makers, I can't comment on that apart from stating that I can't seem to find any! Truly I'm envious of the number of fine hatters working in the US at present doing custom work and the selection of materials available as well as the many fine vintage lids available.
So bearing that in mind the following are bowlers on ebay UK at present, and as expected in one colour only and small sizes. They may be of interest to members here due to the scalloped hat bands as well as the interesting lining treatments where the hat is half line and has a sort of a ventilated piece of cloth underneath the crown.
