Does any detergent that gentle, no harsh chemicals, dye free, scent free, hypoallergenic, etc… fine for even virgin wool. Don’t plan on washing often just when necessary.

I have dreft and All clear and free.

I have used Woolite for quite some time with no ill effects.
Be sure to use you machine's "Gentle" cycle, or maybe even better - hand wash it.
Hang it to dry, I would not recommend using a clothes dryer - likely will shrink.

Nah no dryer, even it it says you can, especially not virgin wool no blend. Always wash by hand. Size is tough to come by and even still hand wash air dry.

I use winni’s at the moment, but I have also used woolite, nuncas and other no brand made in italy. Never had an issue.

for my most quality wool indument I hand wash them, then To dry them I lay them flat and stop them with needles to maintain the correct size and avoid shrinkage. This work very well with all my hand made wool sweater (all made with natural, hand-dyed, hand made yarn… merino, baby alpaca, cachemire, silk…).
