The pictures do not do this Werner Hilton justice. The felt is dense with a hand that brings velvet to my mind. I see no blemishes; it could pass for unworn. I purchased it 20+ years ago and never gave it much wear. I remember wearing to a couple of holiday and diner parties where I only took the hat off when I sat down at the dining table. I have thirty something vintage hat and now at 75 years I am starting to wear the rare nicer ones. I selling the Werner Hilton to finance a sweat band change out and a couple of cleanings. The original box is included with the sale. The hat box will be shipped in a shipping box.
$250 for the hat plus $23 shipping with in US.
Brim is 2-1/16 inches, the crown as creased is 4” at the front slopping to 5 inches at the back of the crown. The hat is tagged 7-1/8. The hat fits me well and I am a long oval 22-7/8” head.
I having trouble getting high definition pictures that show the true deep black felt color. The felt is deep black any graying is a distortion of true color
