Wallpaper in Atonement

Whilst watching Atonement again last night I spent far too much time drooling over the fantastic interiors at the start of the film.

This may have cropped up when the film was released, but anyone else really want that floral nursery wallpaper? I'm not really a floral sort of woman, but it's absolutely grogeous!

I've always liked the larger more free flowing patterns like the one in the foreground as opposed to small redundant patterns. BTW, I had to Google the movie; I knew that I'd seen it but four years is a long time for my feeble memory.:eek:

Set Decorator Katie Spencer SDSA and Production Designer Sarah Greenwood were awarded the BAFTA [British Academy of Film and Television Arts] Orange Award for Production Design for their work on the film ATONEMENT, which also won the BAFTA for Best Picture. They have been honored as well with nominations for the Academy Award for Outstanding Art Direction and the Art Directors’ Guild Award for Production Design of a Period Film.

I've seen that movie once. Can't watch it again. I was depressed for a few days afterwards...

Terrific film, though.
