Vtg. German "Luftwaffe"-type Leather Jacket 30-40's- brown 38

Here a vintage German/Austrian leather jacket in good vintage condition.
Size fits US 38 / EU 48. Also good for US 36 if a slightly looser fit is desired.
Brown leather (certainly steer).
Made by "Umgeher - Linz"
Brass Zippers by "ZIPP".
Red plaid liner with a few well done small mends.
Nice patina, soft leather with some cracks at interior neckline of collar (no flaking off) and a few scratches at the front. Nothing that inhibits wearing or collecting.

Sleeve 64 cm / 25 in
Shoulders 45 cm / 17.7 in
Chest 103 cm interior circumference / 40 inches
Waist 98 cm interior circumference of waistband / 38.5 inches
Back length (measured from bottom of collar to hem) is 57 cm / 22.5 inches.

There were buttons and loops for Luftwaffe insignia. I have no idea whether this jacket was really in use by a "Luftwaffe pilot", as these insignia-traces are often added to civilian 30-50's leather gear.

I am a size 40. Here you see me wearing it. It fits nicely, but I'd recommend it rather to a 38.

Nice one! But … Jacket length measurement is critical for the buyer.

If too long or short for the wearer, this jacket will look awful.

Back length (measured from bottom of collar to hem) is 57 cm / 22.5 inches.
