Vintage Wormser(1930s) 7 1/2

Vintage Wormser in size marked 7 3/8 fits like 1/2. Inside measures 8 x 6 3/4. Lovingly restored with new vintage ribbons that match originals. (Read about and see before pics in Conversion Corral thread) Brim is 2 1/2. Tall open crown is close to 6". Felt has an amazing quality to it . Sweat is reinforced with a new piece of sheep skin . Medium grey Crown ribbon is 1 5/8 . Tan mist brim binding is double stitched so the wider part is on top. There are no moth nips. No stains on liner.
This is a very nice hat with a lot of hours put into restoring this former Hburg.

This thread will help you establish the earliest date (1934) based on the union label... the actual date of manufacture is likely later.

Was going on other feedback from another lounger and we thought we had the date about right.

Certainly. I'm one to guesstimate, but it is always nice to have touchstones like the union label.

David , thanks for sharing, I see yours has a reeded sweat where as mine came un reeded, if your selling yours you might want to have your own ad.

Why all these Homburg circumcisions? The theory that Whippets(or the like) triple the price of Homburgs perhaps?
