Vintage Resistol OpenRoad Style 7 1/4-3/8

Nice Vintage Resistol that has been restored with a new Roan leather sweatband in size 7 1/4-3/8. Bound edge brim is 2 5/8. Wind cord. Crown as blocked about 4 3/4. Measures 8 x6 3/8.
Has been cleaned and freshly blocked. Felt is in very good condition. Minor moth nip on bottom of brim by sweat has been repaired.
Overall this hat has style and lots of life left in it. Color is a light tan beige and is not faded.

Hello! New member here. I have a question about the size you describe as "7 1/4-3/8:" I wear a 7 3/8 with a bit of thin felt behind the sweatband. I currently own a couple of vintage
Barrister and Brent fedoras, and that's what works with them. My actual head measurement falls right at 58.4cm. Do you think this hat would work for me? Also, is the repaired moth damage that you describe visible near the front of the sweatband in the third photo? Since this is my first post, I don't think I can PM yet, otherwise I wouldn't take up space like this. Thanks in advance. Best!

Hello, size is listed as 8 x 6 3/8 and its a snug fit for myself and I wear a 23 1/4 size.
So it may fit you better, personally I like a roomier fit as its easier to size if need be. The leather sweat is very good quality pliable not stiff if you did want to pad it out at all.
As far as moth nip yes it is there in pic 3 near edge of sweat very minimal .
Nothing on top .

That is one sweet hat (as always) Bond and if it were on Ebay for BIN it would be history. But....as usual.....it's too small for my melon!
