Ah, yes...remodeling means making more room. I have a few hats that, for one reason or another, I don't wear. So I thought I'd post them here in hopes they would go to someone who would appreciate them. I will post them one at a time and they will not go on Ebay. You may PM me with any questions and payment should be in the form of a money order or a personal check. (sorry, I don't do PayPal) Shipping will be actual USPS amount from Boston MA.
This hat is a lovely pearl grey Borsalino lightweight. The felt is very light and soft. It is a size 7 1/4. The brim is 2 1/2" and bound with a matching ribbon. The hatband is 1/2" black grosgrain ribbon and there is a black wind cord. The crown stands at 5 1/2" open. It is hand blocked into a teardrop right now.
There are no moth nibbles or tears. The only flaw is a small dark spot on the crown.(see photo) I'm sure it could be cleaned off, but I haven't tried.
