Since having my family I have somewhat rather unintentionally morphed into quite a traditional housewife, something that has agreed with me. I have always dressed quite vintage (Older items are usually made better to last for example and its reusing/recycling.) There are elements from the 50's 60's housewife & mother ideaology that helps my particular home life tick over nicely. It started when my dad gave me my late mothers manuel from the 50s/60s it was a how to guide on how to re wire a socket, darn socks, bake pies, and set hair. It is awesome, although they are mainly instructions on each section as opposed to a daily guide etc. I have been mainly looking online for other guides, tips, resources that are for the 50's housewife and family/home life living/standards/expectations etc. Does this make sense? I just think there are elements that transitionally are relevent in todays society as way back when? Not sure if this is come out as intended but hey ho, here goes (hope I didn't bore you)
