Vintage in Kobe and Osaka, Japan

LaMedicine

One Too Many
Just noticed this thread.
Welcome to Japan to the exalted Baron Kurtz!!

Sorry to say, I'm not into vintage per se (as far as vintage stuff goes, I don't collect, I just hold on to what's been in our family for a while) so I can't answer your Q.
Also, I live in Tokyo, so don't know much about Kobe or Osaka.
Boushi Mania lives in Osaka, so he may know something.
Kobe is known for its history as being a residential area for Westerners, and there are areas that still retain turn of the century atmosphere., though a lot were lost in the fire bomb raids in WWII.

Osaka is an historic commercial city, that also still has corners and spots that retain the old atomosphere despite the loss of a great area of the city to the WWII fire bomb raids.
