But I did have good fortune enough to explore some National Trust properties today with one of my history classes. Any antipodeans who haven't already explored Rippon Lea really must - fedora fans will be pleased by the strong Hollywood vibe in the entertaining wings of the house. And pictures are here!

Rippon lea is fantastic, very Hollywood.
Their are alot of Historic mansions in and around Melbourne, my only problem is because i live in the country i dont get to the city nearly enough.

if you're ever in the chicago area, i suggest renting a car and driving up sheridan road. it's a feast for the eyes.... you'lll see more beautiful houses than you can stand!
