This style of double breasted 3/4 coat goes by many names. I believe this is horsehide, it is definitely old, but supple and a lifetimes worth of wear left in it. No makers marks anywhere. Signs of home repairs to pocket linings which is actually cool. Has thick cotton type lining, thick satin in sleeves with elasticized cuffs. Two deep handwarmer pockets and two other front pockets with an internal pocket. Has real leather buttons. Jacket is a 44 to 46, but you can make it smaller by moving the buttons to at least a size 42 in my opinion.
Measurements:
Chest across front armpit to armpit is 25 inches
Sleeve from shoulder is 26 inches.
Shoulder across the back is 19.75 inches.
