This is a very nice Borsalino from the 1950s in virtually mint condition. The only issue I have with it is the brim width of only 2 1/4". I have come to prefer wider brims. I wore this fedora exclusively for a few weeks last year while I was in Scotland. I am between a 1/8 and 1/4. I used a felt shim and it held to my head fine in the Scottish winds.
Size: Marked European size 6. (US 7 3/8)
Opening: 8 1/4” x 6 1/2”
Brim: 2 1/4" raw
Sweatband: 1 3/4" with no issues - soft
Hatband: 1 1/4" grosgrain
Liner has no stains and all tags are present
This is a fantastic mid-century Borsalino made for the European market. The liner graphics are crisp and features an image of the Sailor's monument in Brindisi.
Color: Lupo (translated wolf)
Ribbon Color: Lupo
Model: Nizzo
Asking $200 but am open to trades and offers.
