Last fall I stumbled across this large high silk hat in an antique shop in the South of France. It just got back from a refurb/polish from Patey in London. It was made by M. Martin in a hat shop in the North of France, probably early 20th century by the shape. It will come with a brand new Patey hat box!

Size: It is about a 57-58cm or 7 1/8" to 7 3/8
Opening length wise: 7 9/10"
Width: 6 1/2"
Crown heigth: 5 1/2
Brim 1 1/2
As you can see in the photos it is in overall excellent shape a few small marks/damage to the silk, slight wear to the top edges of the crown all what you would expect on a vintage top hat. But most are not that visible thanks to the Patey refurb. It has a new ribbon, the grosgrain brim trim is in excellent condition no large tears etc, the leather sweatband is also in good condition as far as I can see.
Price: $250 including shipping in the US, willing to do international but will have to check for additional shipping charges.
