Vintage bespoke(?) double-breasted waistcoat to fit c.40" chest

I am also selling an attractive bluish-grey double-breasted waistcoat, in the less common style without lapels. It should fit someone of around a 40" chest. The absence of any makers' labels suggests to me that it might have been bespoke tailored, and it is certainly vintage, although of what era I am not entirely sure - I guess probably post-war. It works quite well as an odd waistcoat with a suit, which is how I have been wearing it.
