Vintage 1930's Capeskin Aviator Jacket

Looks like it, some Cape has that ribbed grain as on the back on this jacket. What an unusual design, shame it's so small.

JC had this same grain on a cape A1 he made a while back. I believe Scott owns this jacket now.

Allen is correct. Never seen another one like it. I wonder if it's some fake hide made in Ukraine? lol

Mine isn't exactly like this jacket but some shrunken lamb are identical.

I'm still wearing the jacket daily and for a jacket in lambskin it's pretty tough stuff

Awesome. At least in the UK, jackets in this kind of style are relatively common (as common as any British leather of the era that is). Typically marketed as golf or other sporting jackets, and usually made in lambskin.

Yes, certainly capeskin - identical texture/colour to my civvy AN-J-3.
I agree John, as the actress said to the bishop...
