Up for sale on eBay is this genuine Navy/USMC G-1 leather flight jacket that dates to the Vietnam War. No size tag (I believe it is a 1972/1973 Star Sportswear); it measures out to a very large size jacket (46, maybe even 48?).
I am 6’ 1” and weigh 215lbs and the jacket fits me fine.
Overall the jacket is in very good condition for a 40+ year old garment. Awesome example of the G-1 with amazing goatskin! Lots of patina and graining and character.
I had new cuffs and waistband installed (which cost me $75 for the price of the knits plus the installation) and now the jacket is ready for another 40 years of action!
