I really like the hatband. I think the blue is going to go with a lot of my shirts and pants.

Needless to say, I'm pumped.

Thanks to Bolthead and some of the other Loungers who
contacted me with advice and tips on hats. Sorry Bolt, that Panama
got a little to rich for my blood.

I'm curious.

1-does anyone know what "Nato" means?

2-Between summer straws and Art's new lite felts,
am I noticing a shift on the Lounge to hat bands with patterns
as opposed to solid colors?

I think it's just that more vintage summer straws have striped bands. It's pretty hard to find a milan with just a plain band.

Update!

Well the Bee straw arrived today. I couldn't Bee happier.

I'm not well versed in straw but this is just what I wanted.

Holds a nice shape, I snapped the brim down and it's got that
Panama style with a very distinctive weave. Great price.

I think it's great hat for my first venture into straw.

EVEN the WIFE complimented me on this one! Wow.
