Time to get the creative juices flowing!

Hello -
Really wasn't sure where to put this, so I put it here as a sort of 'general' thing, because i wanted everyone to feel they could contribute.

I'm doing a project in photography. it began as 'skins' and moved on to the idea of old 'pin-up' and now i am moving into 'make, do and mend'

Now, i need some ideas of how i can play with and manipulate photos, and also what to take pictures of for this.

My teacher has suggested taking outfits and 'patching' them (and the like) to my model. She was kind of vague and i need to be taking things further than just 'taking the pictures'

so those of you with knowledge in that area, feel free!

Also, it could have anything to do with Dig for Victory or even possibly propaganda.

But she definitely liked the whole make-do-and mend idea because she's not seen it done before.

So any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

You could do something really interesting with a WWII home front theme - maybe get some friends together and re-create some domestic "make do and mend" scenes based on the 1943 Ministry of Information book:
