I ask partly because me n the gf have decided to get a place together when I return to the states. Beyond that, she thinks I should do a lot o the decorating...

As far as inspirations go, I immediately thought of the film Gattica...if anyone has seen it then you know of what im speaking...

What are your thoughts opinions etc, FLers

This may help you Charles. Alot of info along these lines in the display case where I got this from. I love vintage decorating. In fact my honey is scaring me lately as he says he is going to go room by room and change it all to vintage. He is a woodworking fiend when he gets started. Not happy either unless he is putting up or taking down a wall. lol

Art Deco

I hope to re-do my bedroomin an art deco style if I can find a set of waterfall front bedroom stuff. I don't need an Armoire. After that the home office will get the works, hopefully retro minded pieces too.

John, you might wanna keep your eyes open in Pomona... I've seen some killer deals on waterfall styled bedroom sets... and pieces. Antique Rowe on 2nd St. is great for vintage furniture!

I swear by original furniture... especially wood 20's to 40's stuff... never will sag, and will last for a very long time!

Make the investment in an original, and you'll never buy a replacement!;)
