I did a bit of maintenace on the subscription table. I hope it helps. My guess is having almost a half million posts makes the database a little unwieldy.

My only gripe is that the "New Posts" button doesn't work like an "Unread" button. I've missed quite a number of New Posts because they've gone past a time limit from when I was here last. At least, that's what I think happens.

Click on Quick Links and then click on Today's Posts and you get all the recent stuff, not just the New Posts. Not that I'm addicted.

The only thing I don't like about this forum is that sometimes it's really hard to understand what people are talking about...
Yes, I am a foreigner, but usually I don't have such a hard time understand - but I think it's because this forum covers specific topics... sometimes I don't understand what people on a retro forum in my native language are talking about either lol
