I was channel surfing after a long day at the hospital when I came across this on the local 'toon channel. I nearly wet myself, laughing so hard and promptly picked up the first three seasons on dvd.

Think of it as Johnny Quest (which I loved as a kid), The X Men and directed by Sam Peckinpah, scripted by the best comedy writers in the biz.

I love the Venture Brothers. In a few episodes, there is an older Johnny & he is a little crazy & Hadji is running some company.

The guy that did the voice for the 3 headed dog is the same guy that plays Sterling Archer's voice. Archer is another hilarious show if you have the time to catch it. I think episodes 1 and 2 are still on Hulu.

Not really a toon watcher but that's some funny stuff.

Yeah, its one of the funniest shows on cable, and it has a fun "retro theme" that fits with many of us on the forum.

The Venture Bros. is great. It's funny, that they can use Jonny Quest because both are owned by the same company, but they have never actually called him "Jonny Quest" It was "Mr. Quest" once and Action Jonny the rest of the time.

I love how the DVD boxes of the Venture Brothers sets look like 1980's Atari video game boxes....

I really like how the newest season is progressing, Brock is back, but still working with Sphinx (*Sphinx*) and the show is delving into some great areas that have been hinted at for far too long! 21 and Dr. Mrs. The Monarch?!? Finally!
