The Uncanny Resemblance

When I first joined the forum, I first posted on the 3rd page of that '57 Plymouth buried in Tulsa (on the "News" category). Upon scrolling down on that page, I couldn't help but notice for what I thought was the younger picture of my grandmother in the name of Lizzie Maine. I swear, when she was younger, she looked almost like Lizzie Maine! Lizzie Maine, if you're reading this, I hope you take no offense. This is just my observation for "The Observation Bar".

On the left is my grandmother Celi, and on the right is Lizzie.

I think her face structure is a little different but there is a resemblance. I could be wrong since Lizzie is facing at an angle, while your grandmother is facing straight ahead.

I showed your picture to my Mom an she almost fell off her chair! She also couldn't get over your uncanny resemblance. I wish I had a younger picture of her but unfortunately I don't. You'll flip out if you saw her in the late 60's! Looks exactly like you. She already passed away in 2003. We might be related, who knows? It's a small world.

The irony is that I have a picture of her mother taken in the early 1900s. BTW, the picture of her father is my avatar.

I saw someone who looked so much like my mother that it startled me. It was late one night after I'd come home from a Halloween dance I'd dressed up as Carmen Miranda for. I looked in the mirror, and there she was!
