Most banks' security policies dictate that they give 'em the money and let 'em go, no fuss. Banks are more willing to lose a few thousand dollars than have a customer or employee killed and have to deal with the financial and legal repercussions of that. The bank my brother-in-law works for has been robbed a couple of times over the last few years. Plus, with the dye packs and tracking devices they put in the money bundles these days, the joke often ends up being on the crooks. This guy is fairly remarkable in that he's hit several banks in the same area over a period of time, with the same M.O., without being caught.

He wears caps "to blend in with the other bank customers."
He's more of a madcap than a Mad Hatter.

Either way, he's obviously a hat-bitual offender.

With that kind of money, he could keep art busy for a few years. Beter get your orders in while there is still time.
