Bugsy Siegel was in the middle of planning to have Herman Goering and Joseph Goebbels wacked when he was he was dissuaded by his girlfriend of the time, Countess DiFrasso. He reportedly said, when DiFrasso said he couldn't possibly do that - "Oh, yeah... I've been watching 'em for days. It'd be easy."

History would have had a more sympathetic view of Bugsy had he pulled that one off.
