The Big Broadcast on WFUV

"The Big Broadcast" is a weekly program of original 1920s and 30s pop, jazz and dance band recordings, including close to one third 78s, heard Sunday nights from 8 to midnight on WFUV-FM in NYC. And I should know, since I started it in 1973. The show is driven by birthdays. Tonight (April 5) for example, there are five of them, including lyricists Yip Harburg and Leo Robin, and Billie Holiday.
