I've been wearing this all weekend. It's a great winter coat, nice and warm, and sheds water nicely. It's purple-y Gabardine with a quilted satin lining. There are knit cuffs in the sleeves. Three piece button off belt.

Here's an ad from 1950. Looks almost exactly the same. Same liner, in navy blue and silver, same logo, same kind of pockets, mouton collar and cut. Only difference is mine has the belt.

Very nice. Your jacket has a sharp blue color. I like the bold colors noted in the ad..Pirate's Gold, Flame Red!
