Call him and ask for a refund mate
I don't know that. But for clarity I didn't hire her. She offered to call Theodoros and see if he would respond to her before taking it further. She had to call a few times, and the last time she left a message saying if he didn't call back by end of day she had instructions from me to proceed judicially to collect the debt. If he hadn't called back I would have had to hire her. There wasn't any other way to achieve a result unfortunately.Call him and ask for a refund mate
Gotcha, didn't mean for it to come off like it's ridiculous you got a lawyer involved.I don't know that. But for clarity I didn't hire her. Rather ironic that you won’t accept returns…Thread can now be closed. I was successfully able to get the jacket back. Contacted a lawyer working in Thessaloniki and after she made contact, Theodoros agreed to ship me the jacket back. No changes were done to it.
I want to thank all the members who followed this, commented, and offered advice. I hadn't thought about asking for it back--and ultimately that was an option that Theodoros would accept. I don't know if I would have thought of that on my own.
I have listed the jacket for sale in the classifieds in case anyone wants to buy a Thedi Cossack.

You all have my appreciation.
Thanks.

Not really. 'Ironic' implies there is something comparable between Thedi and I, where he did something I won't. And there isn't anything comparable in this situation in reality.Rather ironic that you won’t accept returns…
Are you referring to the sale advert?Rather ironic that you won’t accept returns…
Just the fact that he returned it twice—then says he won’t accept returns. It just amused me, that’s all.Are you referring to the sale advert?
I think it is normal in Europe that there are no returns on private sales of used items. At least this is the case in Germany/Austria. You can only hope for good will or take legal action if the article is not as described.
Glad it worked out. Seems Thedi does monitor emails and phones then. Just needed a bit of motivation in this case. Lol. Odd situation.
This is one of the best/funniest posts I've seen in a while!
